eet Our Team

Diane Penzenstadler – President and Founder
It was Diane who decided one morning that as long as we were helping so many of our clients coordinate event related crises that she just jump in and start a new company to take away everyone's pain. Since she has the longest and most difficult to spell last name, we all sat up and nodded vigorously, yes, yes, yes. Every company needs someone to keep an eye on the big picture. Believe it when we tell you that Diane has seen a lot of really big pictures in her 22+ years in sales and marketing, which also includes ownership of 44º North Advertising & Design (formerly CMMR). It's her job to keep a balanced eye on all of our client's events. That's some balancing act and she's definitely a pro.

Courtney Sowers – Graphic Designer
Designer babe. Courtney can take the vaguest idea and make it totally over the top. It leaves you scratching your head and wondering…now why didn’t I think of that? While she would secretly like to run off with Paul McCartney, who might be old enough to be her grandfather, she stays well grounded because we keep her chained to her Mac. Courtney is also the keeper of the foil ball. Don't ask. We won't tell.

Connie Drexler – Account Representative
Connie was raised in Omro but has lived her entire adult life in Oshkosh. Connie is a lifelong learner having achieved an Associate Degree in Marketing from Fox Valley Technical College, a degree in Business Administration at Marion College in 1995, and a Masters of Science in Training and Development from UW Stout in 2005. Next, who knows? Connie is active in many professional organizations, Women in Management, Past President, West Side Association, President, Oshkosh Chamber Board member since 2008, Oshkosh Chamber Ambassadors, Past President and the Fox Valley Technical College Marketing Advisory committee since 2005. Connie also is a member of BNI and T.H.R.I.V.E., as well as an elder in the First Presbyterian Church, Past chair of property and finance Committee and Past board president of the First Presbyterian Pre-School. Connie’s sales career began with Tupperware. From that, she learned and grew, moving on to the Oshkosh Buyers Guide and Gannett Newspapers. She then became the VP of Sales and Marketing at New North B2B magazine, and landed at 44º North in 2007. Connie is most proud of the monthly column she wrote for a business publication which gave her the ability to impose her not so humble opinion, upon hundreds, maybe thousands of people. Connie’s hobbies are networking and connecting people. She loves to travel, shop and spend time with family and friends. The best part of Connie’s job is meeting new people and helping their business become more successful.

Bowen Hobbs –Graphic Designer
Bowen is the newest addition to our design staff, somehow landing on his feet in the middle of at the time, an all female firm. He was born in Cudahy, Wisconsin and has lived in South Milwaukee, Oak Creek and Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Bowen has a BFA from UW Oshkosh majoring in Graphic Communications with a minor in History. Bowen networks on Chris Creamer’s Sports Logos Community and on Facebook. His work experience includes Graphic Artist, Department of Residence Life, UW Oshkosh, Graphic designer/Production Artist, Artistix Graphic & Printing, and Graphic Designer, Autumn Hill Creative. Bowen enjoys designing sports concepts, drawing and painting as hobbies along with watching sports and playing video games. Bowen is most proud of designing the 2009 Midwest League All Star Game logos. He enjoys working on NFL and MLB redesign series for his own amusement. Bowen hasn’t been here long enough to know what the least favorite part of his job is…but he likes the being creative part the best!

Monica Schulz – Office Manager
Monica is the woman who keeps it all on track. She makes sure the i's are dotted, the t's crossed and there are no surprises. Well except for the one time she brought someone’s pet skunk in. Yeah, we were pretty surprised! Monica is very approachable (when she isn't carrying a skunk) and very diplomatic, too. You always know exactly where your money was spent.

Millie – Official Greeter
Our mellow seven year old golden retriever. If you've got treats, she might go home with you. And if you don't, she still might go home with you. She loves her work so much it can be difficult to get her to leave the office. You can usually find Millie hard at work napping and taking multiple breaks to get her belly rubbed.
