Encore Event Planning was instrumental in negotiating a partnership between EAA and Draft Magazine for this annual fundraising event for EAA.

VIP DINNER

Planning
• Worked with DRAFT Executives in arranging special guests for the event.
• Ben Ford (Harrison Ford’s son) was Head Chef for the Beer Pairing Dinner. (Special tickets sold for this event.)
• Head Brewmaster, Nathaniel Davis from Anheuser Busch gave an informational talk about the beers being served.
• Ordered special glassware to accommodate several different styles of beer served with each course.
• Worked with Brewmaster to ensure proper cleaning of glassware, which requires special temperatures and cleaning products.
• Developed brew school attendee certificates.
• Planned decor and floral arrangements with florist.
• Planned table settings and seating arrangements.
• Coordinated DRAFT magazine giveaways in event attendee bags.

Project Management
• Planned and managed the DRAFT booth in the museum area.
• Set up dining room and welcome area.
• Redeemed tickets and distributed VIP attendees special Stella Artois glassware in velvet pouches as well as customized Beer School Certificates.
• Distributed other gifts to attendees upon exit from the dining area.

Outcome: A solid, mutually benefitting relationship was forged between EAA and DRAFT Magazine resulting in their partnering again for this event in 2009. DRAFT increased subscriptions as well as brand recognition among attendees and brewers in the Wisconsin/Midwest area. EAA received high praise and outstanding feedback on the VIP dinner, presentation, details and staffing.
